The Bessemer Trust Company was appointed a co-conservative in the 39-year-old singer’s finances by Judge Brenda Penny last November after she rejected a motion to fire Britney’s father, Jamie Spears.
And after Britney recently appeared in court with another motion to remove her father from her case – which the judge again rejected on Wednesday – the Bessemer Trust Company decided to walk away from the situation.
According to TMZ, the Trust “decided not to want to get involved out of shame in all the conservatism controversies.” The publication claims that the Trust doesn’t want anything to do with Jamie Spears and is concerned about “public protests” against Britney’s alleged stance since she started her Conservatory in 2008.
The news means that Jamie will remain the only Conservative alongside his Conservative, Jody Montgomery, in his daughter’s wealth and finances. Britney declaimed in court last week about her Conservative position, claiming she left her “traumatized” and “depressed” – and asking her father, Jamie Spears, to be jailed.
She said, “They made me go to therapy and see a psychiatrist three times a week. “I believe this conservatism is rude. I don’t deem I can live a whole life. Meanwhile, I wanted this therapist to come to my house; I wasn’t ready to go to Westlake… So I sent myself to places that most open, and I need your help.
“My father and everyone involved in this conservatism, including my leadership … they should be jailed.” Following her daughter’s comments, Jamie’s legal team issued a statement confirming that she “loves her daughter very much.”
They said, “I’m sorry my daughter suffered and suffered so much. Mr. Spears loves his daughter very much.” Several stars have supported Britney since she appeared in court, including her ex-husband Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Chloe Kardashian, Halsey, and Wendy Williams.
