James wrote on Twitter: “When I first considered writing #TheSuicideSquad, I had a file folder with the characters I was thinking. “These are just a few (of that many) who use the acronym (still!) And as his manager, I believe it is in my best interest that he retires from his team because my professional services are no longer required.
“Every character in #TheSuicideSquad is chosen for a purpose big or small, and while I like these other characters, they don’t tell a story either. (Sic) “James remains open to the possible use of the symbol in the future. On the microblogging platform, he stated, “Of course, I’m open to using it in the future. And many more great characters from @DCComics wherever they come from.
Earlier this year, James announced that he cried “all the time” while filming. The director of The Guardians from the Galaxy admits that he sees writing as an emotional process.
He previously said on Twitter: “I was crying the whole time I was writing. I cried when Yondu told Peter in Volume 2 that he is his father and gave up being Drax’s pet as Rocket – now I cry, only I write these moments – I cried so many times. (Si)” When asked if he had tears in his eyes while writing Suicide Squad, James replied, “Yes.” And several more major surpassing characters from @DCComics wherever they come from.
